So yesterday was a great time! I got to talk to John over Skype at Tessa's! We were baking cookies when a lightbulb went off...duh! She has a webcam and wifi! We were in business! The kids loved seeing him and he looked very happy to see us as well. After that we headed home and made nanny Bolsters unstuffed stuffed peppers and they were a hit! Lauren and Haleigh came over for dinner then pumpkin carving. Lauren made a witch's hat, Haleigh did a pretty sweet spider, dad made a vampire, Adam and I made a scary bat! We also sorted the seeds and were out of season salt so Lauren improvised and did 1/2 salt and 1/2 TACO! They were actually pretty good. Went to bed and Kinley slept uninterrupted for.......11 HOURS! I was up of course every hour on the hour awaiting her screams for a bottle but she didn't fuss even once! It was nice :)
Today the kids and I got up around eight and made breakfast. I had an omelette and Adam had his regualr...toast and jelly. Papa and dad were already at work so we just enjoyed our morning watching some tv and relaxing on the couch. I started boiling a chicken for soup which actually turned out pretty tastey! It was also a hit :) Papa went back for seconds which I haven't seen him do since we've been here. Ha! I gave the kids a bath together and Kinley would grab the side of the tub, stand up, get really excited and her feet would give out beneath her and she would completely wipe out and give Adam the biggest belly laugh! It was both scary and hilarious. Well, my me time is coming to a close. I am wiped! Goodnight!

Welcome to Mismatched Socky's!
I have decided to start blogging since my journal was in my luggage that decided to get up and walk off, never to be seen again. I had started journaling shortly after the arrival of Miss. Kinley Bean and thought it would be a fun way to document our lives as a family of four. I was up to four months with great tales of roadtriping, new home purchasing, and spider adventures! Boo Hoo :( So anyway this is much more fun seeing as how John and I can now share our adventures with our family and friends. John is still on his 3 month TDY so he will actually be able to contribute from thousands of miles away! How cool!! Well, goodnight for now. It is late and it actually took me a while to get this bad boy up and running. Excited to blog about our day tomorrow!! Night night!
