Today was a very funny day. As my son embarks on the fun 4's he's been talking and asking a lot more questions these days...this afternoon while driving to the "grocery shop" he asks me "mommy, why are there rocks in my legs?" "Rocks?" I thought..."Yes mommy, why are there these hard rocks in my legs?" Then it finally dawns on me that he's asking why his legs have BONES in them! It was hard not to laugh and give him an explanation for the "rocks" in his legs. :)
After we finished up at the store we swung by Burger King for dinner. Adam has his usual cheeseburger kids meal with apple juice and I had my chicken sandwich and fries. It was so yummy like always. Adam was so proud of himself for eating his whole cheeseburger that he decided he was going to eat all of his fries too! Good for him!
Later around bedtime I thought I would give the kids some cinnamon apple sauce. Kinley, Adam, and I were eating when all of a sudden Adam says "Mommy, did you know that apple sauce makes you poop?" "No I didn't know that!" I laughed so hard! The best part was that he didn't even look up from his apple sauce and was completely serious about his statement until I started laughing! Then he gave a few chuckles but said again "It does, it makes you poop mommy." :) It was really cute.
